Employment Lawyer Job Type: Full-time/Part-time, Hybrid Location: Bristol or Leeds Salary: Competitive An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Employment Lawyer to join our established employment group. This role offers the chance to work with a dynamic team across our Bristol and Leeds offices, providing a blend of office and home working. We are seeking a candidate with extensive employment law knowledge and experience managing a team of employment lawyers. Day-to-day of the role: Take full responsibility for cases while mentoring and overseeing team members to assist in their development. Provide strategic, technical, and practical guidance within your area of expertise. Set an example of best practice in the conduct of insurance litigation. Assist the group leader with maximising the profitability of the group. Represent the group by building excellent working relationships both internally and externally. Lead in the auditing of cases to ensure consistently high standards. Manage employee performance using all available tools. Handle complaints within the group and liaise with the Compliance department where necessary. Assist with future recruitment for the group. Line manage the Solicitors and Paralegals within the group. Promote compliance with the company’s policies and procedures within the group. Required Skills & Qualifications: Fully qualified Solicitor, Barrister, FCILEx, or extensive equivalent experience in claimant and respondent matters. A passion for employment law and providing commercial and practical solutions. Extensive experience leading and supervising Employment Lawyers. Ability to handle all aspects of employment tribunal litigation. Capability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
