Employment Solicitor (2+years') – Edinburgh/Aberdeen/Glasgow

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor with 2+ years’ PQE to join a highly regarded and growing Employment team in Edinburgh, Glasgow or Aberdeen.

The team advises a diverse range of leading UK and international businesses, providing commercially focused advice across a broad spectrum of employment matters. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-resourced team and work on high-quality, complex matters alongside experienced employment specialists.

The Role

You will have the opportunity to advise on a broad range of employment matters, including:

• Strategic employment law advice
• Complex Employment Tribunal claims
• Restructuring and redundancy
• Senior-level grievances, including discrimination and whistleblowing
• Executive and board-level employment issues
• Senior recruitment and termination
• Executive compensation and bonus arrangements
• Team moves and restrictive covenants
• Cross-border employment matters
• M&A and outsourcing projects
• Wider strategic employment projects

There will also be opportunities to work closely with colleagues across the UK and internationally on complex, cross-border matters.

About You

You will have:

• At least 2 years’ PQE gained within a commercial employment practice
• Strong technical employment law experience
• Experience of advising on complex employment matters
• Excellent commercial awareness and a pragmatic approach
• Strong communication and client relationship skills
• A strong academic background
• The ability to work collaboratively across teams
• A genuine interest in contributing to the continued growth of the team

Experience of high-value or High Court litigation would be advantageous, as would an interest in supporting clients on M&A and outsourcing matters.
