We’re looking for an Employment Lawyer to join our highly regarded Employment & Reward team in Aberdeen. You’ll have the opportunity to:
Work on high-profile, cutting-edge matters
Collaborate with colleagues across the UK and internationally
Build strong, long-term relationships with clients
Develop your expertise across a broad range of employment law
The work
Our work is varied, interesting and often international in scope. You can expect to be involved in:
Complex tribunal claims and employment litigation
Strategic advisory work on workforce issues
Corporate transactions and business change projects
Cross-border employment matters and global mobility
Senior executive and board-level issues, including exits, reward and restrictive covenants
We’re also heavily involved in future-focused projects such as global change programmes, reward strategy and pay gap reporting—giving you exposure to the evolving world of work.
The team
You’ll join a growing Aberdeen team alongside a recently appointed Employment Partner, while also being part of a wider UK group of over 60 employment lawyers across multiple offices.
Collaboration is at the heart of how we work, so you’ll benefit from support, knowledge sharing and opportunities across the wider business.
What we’re looking for
We’re interested in people who:
Are passionate about employment law (or keen to specialise in it)
Enjoy working closely with clients and understanding their business needs
Can deliver practical, commercially aware advice
Work well in a team and across different offices
Are proactive, curious and motivated to grow their career
Experience across areas such as litigation, corporate support, or cross-border work is helpful, but not essential—we’re more interested in your potential and mindset.
