A well-established and respected South Yorkshire law firm is looking to recruit an Employment Solicitor (NQ+) to lead and develop its Employment offering from the firm’s Doncaster office.

This is a unique opportunity for a confident and commercially minded employment lawyer who is comfortable working independently and taking ownership of the employment caseload. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting the firm’s existing client base while helping to further develop and grow the employment law offering.

You will advise on a broad range of employment matters for both employers and employees, including:

• Employment Tribunal claims and dispute resolution
  
• Drafting and reviewing contracts of employment, policies, and procedures
  
• Advising on disciplinary and grievance processes
  
• Redundancies, restructures, and settlement agreements
  
• Providing practical HR and employment law advice to business clients
  

This role would suit a newly qualified solicitor with strong employment experience or a more experienced solicitor who is confident managing their own matters and building relationships with clients.

The ideal candidate will:

• Be a qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive (NQ+) with experience in employment law
  
• Be confident managing their own caseload and working independently
  
• Have strong client care and communication skills
  
• Be commercially aware and interested in helping grow the firm’s employment offering
  
• Be proactive, organised, and able to build relationships with both new and existing clients
