Not to be missed! We have been exclusively instructed on a truly rare opportunity. Sought is a Newly Qualified Employment Solicitor to join a top-tier Employment team in a leading international law firm’s growing Manchester office.
The Firm

The Employment team is one of the largest and most highly regarded in the UK, consistently ranked in the top tier by Chambers and Legal 500. The team supports a diverse client base, including many of the world’s leading businesses across all areas of employment and immigration law, both domestically and internationally.
The Role
A superb opportunity to join a Tier 1-rated Employment team in its Manchester office, which has grown significantly. You will gain exposure to a wide variety of employment matters and have the chance to work alongside some of the most respected employment Solicitors & Partners in the country.
You’ll work on a mix of contentious and non-contentious matters, including:
- Advising on HR and employee relations issues
- Managing Employment Tribunal claims and case strategies
- TUPE and restructuring projects
- Drafting employment contracts, policies, and guidance documents
- Supporting on corporate transactions and due diligence
- Delivering client training and contributing to legal updates and publications
Skills You Need
- You will qualify as a Solicitor in March 2026, ideally having completed a 12-month seat in Employment law at a top-tier national or international firm
- Strong academic background and solid grounding in employment law
- Experience in both contentious and non-contentious work preferred, though corporate support experience will also be considered
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- A commercial, client-focused approach with an enthusiasm for business development
- A genuine team player with the ambition to develop within a leading practice
