Legal Secretary - EmploymentWe are working with a highly regarded, City based law firm in London, known for combining deep sector expertise with a first class service to a prestigious client base.
The firm is seeking an experienced Legal Secretary to support a busy Employment Partner. This is an excellent opportunity for a capable and proactive Legal Secretary to join a professional, forward thinking firm in a fast paced and intellectually stimulating environment.
The Firm
The Legal Secretary will join a law firm that offers a collaborative and high performing working culture, surrounded by respected legal professionals. The firm pride themselves on delivering exceptional client service and are therefore seeking a like minded individual who takes real ownership of their role.
The Role
The Employment team advise on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters, supporting both employers and senior individuals. You will work closely with an Employment Partner, providing high level secretarial and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of their practice.
The role will include:
Managing the Employment Partner's day to day administrative workload
Diary management, meeting coordination and travel arrangements
File opening and matter management in line with firm procedures
High quality document production, formatting and amendment of legal documents
Drafting correspondence and bills under instruction
Handling telephone calls and email correspondence with clients professionally
Liaising with internal teams and external contacts as required
Maintaining accurate filing, archiving and document management systems
The Legal Secretary
You will be a polished, organised and calm professional who is confident supporting at Partner level and comfortable working in a demanding environment.
The Legal Secretary will have:
Previous experience as a Legal Secretary, ideally within Employment law
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and document production skills
Ability to prioritise effectively and manage competing deadlines
A proactive and flexible approach with a strong client service mindset
