Employment Solicitor – Birmingham
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an Employment Solicitor to join a top 30 law firm based in Birmingham. Our client is seeking an Employment Solicitor at Associate or Senior Associate level who is technically excellent and commercially to support a diverse client base across multiple sectors.
The Role:
As an Employment Solicitor in this firm, you will work within a collaborative and dynamic team, advising on a broad range of contentious and non-contentious employment matters and contributing to the continued growth of the practice.
Key Responsibilities include:
- Advising clients on a wide range of employment law matters, including:
- Redundancies
- Disciplinary and grievance procedures
- TUPE
- Absence management
- Settlement Agreements
- Representing clients in Employment Tribunal claims and higher court proceedings
- Managing and developing client relationships
- Contributing to business development and profile-raising activities
- Mentoring and supporting Junior Lawyers
- Collaborating with colleagues across the firm to deliver seamless, high-quality advice
The team regularly advises on complex and high-profile matters, including large-scale restructures, sensitive workplace investigations and complex tribunal litigation.
About You:
Our national client is looking for a Lawyer who combines strong technical ability with leadership and commercial awareness.
You will have:
- A solid and up-to-date understanding of employment law
- Experience handling both contentious and non-contentious employment matters
- The ability to build trusted client relationships and deliver excellent client service
- Confidence in mentoring and developing junior colleagues
- A collaborative mindset and proactive approach to problem-solving
