Location: Birmingham - Hybrid (Up to 2 Days WFH)
Salary: £40,000
Full-Time | Permanent
NJR Recruitment is delighted to be representing a forward-thinking, fast-growing business who are a specialist Employee Benefits provider with a market-leading 95% client retention rate. Due to continued expansion over the last two years, they are now looking for an experienced Consultant to join their high-performing team and help sustain their ambitious growth plans.
To be considered you will need to have Industry related experience and have has experience in a Client facing capacity.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience in a regulated environment within PMI and/or Group Risk
- Strong knowledge of the PMI and Group Risk markets (insurer or intermediary background)
- Relevant qualifications (e.g., IF1, IF7, GR1) or willingness to study
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
- Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written
- A proactive, client-focused approach to service delivery
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced professional to manage and grow an existing portfolio of Private Medical Insurance (PMI) and Group Risk clients, while providing support to colleagues on larger client renewals. Working in a supportive and collaborative environment, you’ll have the autonomy to manage your own portfolio while being part of a close-knit team dedicated to delivering exceptional service.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage, retain, and grow an existing portfolio of PMI and Group Risk clients
- Review and improve retention processes for efficiency and service excellence
- Liaise with clients and insurers to ensure seamless renewals
- Prepare, check, and present renewal reports to clients, offering clear, tailored recommendations
- Maintain a client-first approach, ensuring high-quality outcomes and satisfaction
- Provide support on larger renewals alongside other consultants
- Organise and prioritise workload to meet agreed service levels
- Keep accurate and compliant client records at all times
- Stay informed on industry developments, compliance standards, and regulatory requirements
